If you hear cheering, laughter, and a suspicious amount of competitive energy coming from Central Avenue on April 18th… don’t worry. Nothing unusual is happening. Just one of the most legendary rolling competitions in Tampa Bay taking over Chillum Mushroom & Hemp Dispensary.
That’s right — Best Blunt of the Bay V is officially returning, and this year it’s going down at Chillum’s St. Petersburg location.

Suncoast NORML’s iconic rolling showdown will take place:

Best Blunt of the Bay isn’t just a contest — it’s a full-blown cultural event.
This year’s competition will be singles only, meaning no teams and no backup. Just you, your skills, and the pressure of performing in front of a crowd ready to cheer you on.
Contestants will face off across three rounds:
- Round 1: Papers
Precision, structure, and burn quality will separate the amateurs from the professionals. - Round 2: Blunts
Classic technique. Clean seams. Consistency under pressure. - Round 3: Freestyle
Creativity takes over. This is where artistry, innovation, and pure rolling swagger shine.
Only one person will walk away with ultimate bragging rights and the title of Best Blunt of the Bay Champion.
New This Year: The Chillum Dab-a-thon
Because a normal competition simply wasn’t chaotic enough.
Introducing the Chillum Dab-a-thon — a last-person-standing endurance challenge where contestants will be served by Chillum hemptenders until they simply can’t continue.
No timers.
No mercy.
