About the event
Best Blunt of the Bay V
Suncoast NORML’s Legendary Blunt Rolling Competition Returns
Suncoast NORML is proud to present Best Blunt of the Bay V, the fifth installment of our iconic blunt-rolling showdown—and this year, we’re turning the heat up just days before 4/20.
After four wildly successful competitions, we’re switching things up. This year is a singles-only competition—no teams, no safety nets, just pure rolling skill, creativity, and composure under pressure.
The event goes down April 18th at 7:00 PM, only two days before 4/20, at the St. Petersburg location of Chillum Mushroom and Hemp Dispensary (1916 Central Ave, St. Petersburg, FL 33712).
The Competition Format
Each contestant will compete solo through three official rolling rounds:
- Round 1: Papers – Precision, structure, and burn quality
- Round 2: Blunts – Classic skills, clean seams, and consistency
- Round 3: Freestyle – Creative expression, innovation, and flair
Judging will be based on craftsmanship, functionality, presentation, and overall execution.
NEW This Year: The Chillum Dab-a-thon
Think you can roll and endure? This year introduces the Chillum-sponsored Dab-a-thon—a separate, brutal, crowd-favorite endurance challenge.
Contestants will be fed dabs by Chillum Hemptenders until they simply can’t continue.
No timers. No mercy.
Last person standing wins.
Whether you’re competing or just watching Tampa Bay’s finest rollers go head-to-head, Best Blunt of the Bay V is equal parts skill, spectacle, and celebration of cannabis culture—hosted by Suncoast NORML.
