Ybor City, Florida –November 14^th 2021 — The hemp industry got it’s start with loopholes. CBD is now readily available everywhere you turn because of a loophole that classified the difference between hemp (legal) and cannabis (illegal).  This loophole being as long as the plant contained less than .3% Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis, it was considered to be hemp and the CBD present was legal to sell and posses by US federal law.

The idea has always been that anything, but Delta-9 THC, is fair game to posses and sell in the US. It has always seemed that the federal government has just been concerned with the fact that cannabis gets you high.

This is because only a miniscule percentage (.3%) of Delta 9 THC has been allowed by the weight of the product. How could a third of one percent ever get anyone high? Well, if the gummy weighs seven grams or more, then you can have up to ten milligrams of Delta 9 THC per gummy. And 10 milligrams of THC is  a pretty standard dose, enough to get most people stoned!
